WILL PRYCE

Will studied Architecture at Cambridge and the Royal College of Art and worked for a number of practices in London including Foster + Partners, Richard Rogers Partnership and Rick Mather Architects. In 2000 he studied photojournalism at the LCP and, annoyingly, came second in both the Observer Hodge Award (2000) and Sunday Times Ian Parry Award (2001). He originally shot reportage stories for editorial clients including the Financial Times Magazine, The Observer and The Telegraph before starting to shoot architecture in 2001. His first book of architectural photography - 'Brick; a World History' was published by Thames & Hudson in 2003 with text by James W.P. Campbell. He then wrote and photographed 'Architecture in Wood' (Thames & Hudson 2005), 'Big Shed' (Thames & Hudson 2007) and 'World Architecture - The Masterworks' (Thames & Hudson 2008). He currently shoots for a variety of architects, designers, design agencies, magazines and book publishers.
